On October 4, 2022, two members of this panel, Justice Hardesty and Justice Stiglich, attended a meeting with multiple stakeholders, including the Attorney General's Office, the Clark County Public Defender's Office, and respondent District Judge Cristy Craig and other judges from the Eighth Judicial District Court, to discuss a proposal for a new forensic psychiatric hospital facility, the same facility referenced on page 5 of the petition. Any motion to disqualify must be made in writing by 12 noon on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. We temporarily stay the district court's contempt orders pending our receipt and consideration of any opposition and disqualification motion, and pending further order of this court.
