Under the circumstances, there is little need to complicate this matter further by striking the amended order and remanding for the district court to reenter it; accordingly, we treat the matter as if the district court had certified its intent to amend the order under NRAP 12A and the parties had sought and obtained a remand for that purpose. We deem the October 28 amended order properly entered and appealed from, NRAP 4(a)(6), and thus this appeal may proceed. With regard to appellant's stay motion, it does not appear that she has complied with NRAP 8(a) by first seeking stay relief in the district court, as respondent points out. Having nevertheless considered appellant's stay motion under the NRAP 8(d) factors and in light of the record on appeal, we conclude that the factors do not militate in favor of a stay of the custody order at this time. Accordingly, we deny her motion for stay. The transcripts were due to be filed with the district court clerk by January 3, 2025. See NRAP 3E(c)(4)(A). However, the record on appeal transmitted to this court on January 9, 2025, does not contain the requested transcripts. Accordingly, the district court clerk shall have 7 days from the date of this order to file a supplement to the record on appeal that contains the missing transcripts, or to otherwise inform this court in writing why the transcripts cannot be transmitted.
