Appellant has filed a motion to stay the warrant pending resolution of this appeal from the denial of appellant's postconviction petition for writ of habeas corpus. Having considered the motion, opposition, and reply, the court agrees that a stay is warranted here. Accordingly, appellant's motion is granted and the March 26, 2025, Corrected Second Supplemental Warrant of Execution and the execution of the death penalty in Seventh Judicial District Court Case No. CR-0001511 are stayed pending resolution of this appeal or further order of this court.
