On March 9, 2017, appellant and amicus curiae Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) filed a "Notice of Clarification Regarding Oral Argument." In the notice, appellant and FHFA seek to clarify an issue that arose during oral argument. Respondent objects to the notice and requests that the notice be stricken. Alternatively, respondent provides its own response to the notice, attached as an exhibit to its objection. This court concludes that this notice of clarification amounts to an impermissible attempt to extend the oral argument beyond the time that appellant and FHFA were allowed on March 7, 2017. Accordingly, we decline to entertain the notice. The clerk of this court shall strike the notice filed on March 9, 2017, and shall strike Exhibit A, attached to respondent's objection filed on March 13, 2017.17-10623
